Here is a sight you will only find on a Gecko peppered Island where the urge to "ante up" meets ground level! The "flop" is flipped and the tiny leaf cards draw these sticky fingered fella’s interest more than a lunar moth on a light bulb! The warm tropical breezes are laced with the scent of fine cognac as the smokey haze from a rare Cuban cigar marbles the darkness and casts a warm amber glow.

The dealer is a cunning little "brah". Wearing a pop top visor, he leans over the SPAM can table to deal the "turn." Expressions strain to hide revealing the true hand values but one of these guys has a back up plan clutched in his nimble tail. The chips are perfectly scaled for this game from tiny puka shells and other sea washed shells of the smallest sizes. This scene captures the tense moment just before the "river is up" and it looks like this will be another long evening. One thing's for sure, the only thing shadier than a coco palm on Waikiki Beach is this little group of brah's playing their small kine version of hold 'em on this dark, Hawaiian night!!
