This beautiful piece of art is 60" long, there are a total of 16 authentic shark teeth, the wood used for this specific item is Koa and has woven loops of fibers also called olona (a Hawaiian shrub, the bark of which was valued as a source of strong, durable fiber). So, it looks good from a distance but a few things that are obviously bad once in hand. Firstly, it lands a couple inches short of 60”, which is a bit nit picky but I didn’t need this thing to look any smaller than it already does. Secondly, the rope wraps on it are very cheap and only held on with a couple dots of hot glue. I had to replace them immediately out of the box as they were already falling off. Thirdly, it has a bit too modern of a finish, which makes it loose some of its tribal, ancient look. Overall nice, but not worth the cost. :(
